Ricky Gervais on Inside the Actor's Studio - The British funny man will sit down with James Lipton Monday night. I haven't watched this show in ages, but I'd watch Ricky do just about anything (I even saw Ghost Town and enjoyed it more than expected).
More Terrible Ideas: Karate Kid Remake - The hits just keep on comin'. Jackie Chan is in talks to play Mr. Miyagi while Will Smith's son Jayden is slated to play the new Daniel. Who's leg do I have to sweep to make this horrible idea go away?
No A.I. Posts For You - So, I'm sure you know American Idol is back with Season 8 and I realize you are totally missing my recaps, but I am forgoing them this season to let another shine. If you really want truly hilarious recaps, go see BeckEye. Trust me. You won't miss mine at all.
Don't Check the San Diego Weather Forecast - Seriously, don't do it. Unless you really enjoy weeping with jealousy.

To further overuse an overused phrase: The casting of the Karate Kid remake made me throw up in my mouth a little. Why do remakes now always have to do the ol' "ethnic switcheroo"? They should get Chow Yun-Fat and that surly kid from War Of The Worlds and do it up right. Sadly, there is no replacing the lovely Elisabeth Shue.
I loved the UK "Office." Felt dissatisfied with the American version and kinda lost interest in Mr. Gervais to some degree.
But recently I saw an old UK "Office" episode and realized how brilliant it was. I need to check him out w/ Lipton, I think.
I hate you and your place of residence. Go to hell.
;)
Ricky G's podcast is excellent.
I liked "Ghost Town" too! It would have been less interesting without Ricky however. And i agree with Monsieur Miller, the UK office is best by far.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot:
THIS.
Beeyotch.
Holy Christ!!!
I was going to say something much like Fal's post, but I probably shouldn't bite the hand that pimps me.
That Karate Kid remake is sure to suck. The only way it will work is if Zabka returns and kills everyone. Then I would see it. Twice.
Regarding the Karate Kid, they've been talking about this for over a year now, and I'll say now what I said then: Black People, we are officially now even for us stealing rock and roll.
Although I am not anxious to see a remake of "The Karate Kid", let's get a grip people. It's not like Will Smith is remaking "Citizen Kane".
As for Pistols At Dawn's comments that Whites stole rock and roll from Blacks, if he is referring to things like Pat Boone covering classics such as "Ain't That A Shame", "Tutti Frutti", and "Long Tall Sally", it's going to take a helluva lot more than Smith's redo of "The Karate Kid" to even things up for those travesties.
Malcolm, I was hoping that we could all forget that Pat Boone existed, or at the very least, we could both agree that he's Mexican, and therefore not involved in this debate.
