Veronica Mars: The Movie

In news few people care about, rumors are circulating that Rob Thomas and Kristen Bell are chatting about a possible Veronica Mars movie. Considering 50% of GitW contributors love Veronica Mars more than life, this is very exciting news! (In fact, in case you ever wondered, our blog name is partly a reference to a Veronica Mars episode. Obsessed much?) Considering I wasn't crazy about the pseudo-pilot for the would-be 4th season, I hope the movie version doesn't find Veronica at the FBI training school in Langley, but still in Neptune, fighting with Logan, helping Keith fight the bad guys and making the world better for sassy ladies everywhere. Keep the dream alive!

Have I ever mentioned I know Ryan Hansen? Oh, I have? My bad.

Add me to the blank stare list. I kept wondering what the Matchbox Twenty dude had to do with Veronica Mars.

Yeah, yeah. I know Liz and I are the only ones who care, but it's our blog damnit and I'll write about whatever I want!

I greater than 3 Veronica Mars!

(Get it? <3. Great, now I'm getting the blank stares).

I saw like 4 episodes and I thought it was a great show. But I think it was on the same time as something I really liked a lot, because I never watched it again. I'd definitely be seeing the movie though.

This posting was lacking something...I can't quite put my finger on it...Oh, I know: an improved avatar for Red!

This is great news! A former co-worker loaned me her 1st season DVD set of "Veronica Mars" and I'd rave about it to anyone who'd listen... I even wrote a couple of blog posts in Oct and Dec of last year. If I put together a list of TV shows with great 1st seasons, VM would be near or at the top.

I need to quit f'ing around and watch the season 2 set that my former co-worker loaned me (it's all good because she has my Freaks and Geeks set). Although I heard the 3rd season of VM wasn't as good, I'll probably seek it out for the sake of completion.

If I want a teenaged detective saving the day, I've already got my choice of the Hardy Boys or Encyclopedia Brown, thank you very much.

Malcolm, neither season 2 or 3 packed quite the same punch of season 1 of VM, but they're still quite good.

No no no... you and Liz aren't the only people that care. I will add the necessary hetero male Give-a-Shits to this news item.

Aside from my previously established stalking of the Kristen Bell, I actually watched all three seasons of the "Mars," even when the 3rd spun slightly out of control.
