Speaking of the Weekend

We will be MIA tomorrow, as all GITW personnel (except Garney) will be skipping out of work to go watch Spring Training baseball. Try not to miss us too much. To get you through the weekend, here’s Garney Daniel Plainview (from There Will be Blood) and his rendition of Radiohead’s Creep:

Enjoy!

hahahahahahaha, I love Garney even more. I didn't think it was possible.

Check out "Garney's blog" in the approved time wasters section for a complete list of impersonation/song combos and leave a comment here or there on which one you're interested in hearing next

Have a good weekend!

Lazy bums.

Good thing someone responsible like Garney is sticking around to hold down the fort!

Anything by Kermit would suit me just fine.

Oh, and I read Possible Side Effects by Burroughs about a year ago and it was great. I'm assuming you've read Running With Scissors and Dry?

Read Scissors, and Dry has already been strongly recommended so it's on the to-read list.

I used to do a public service announcement version of Close to You with different lyrics as performed by Kermit the Frog when I did standup comedy in San Diego. I'll have to include that along with my rendiiton of Kermit singing I Will.

I haven't even seen the movie, but this is hysterical. I've seen enough movie clips to fully grasp the over-acting DDL.

You know what's frightening is that when I saw the "Eddie Vedder does Planet Telex" entry, I thought, "that actually makes perfect sense."

I'm dying to hear the Walken version of "Iron Lung."

I think Britney doing a grunty, groany, breathy version of "Just" would be pretty funny.

Just like old times in high school theater Garney - good job on a classic impression! Angela
